My post for today is colour specific, specific to PURPLE. Ooooh how I love purple. My wardrobe basically consists of blue and purple clothes, I'm not sure why, it must be something to do with how my brain is programmed - whenever I'm shopping I always hone in on blue, purple, stripes, polka dots and skull-related clothes, it's just the way I shop! Haha. With that in mind, here are a few beautiful picks that are full of purple joy:

The ball is properly rolling now so I'm really excited, I keep making 'eeeeee' noises every time I look at the pictures and the floorplan - I've practically mentally decorated it too, can't wait to get in and pick up a paintbrush!

When I've not been frantically searching for house things in the Laura Ashley sale, I've been ogling some of the beautiful skirts and dresses that have popped up on Asos recently. Check 'em out...

Let's get moving

Sooo what did you all get up to this weekend? I brought a house, which is quite mental. Want to know the even more mental part... I've brought a house which doesn't exist yet... but I've been assured that come November it'll be... visible - I hope that happens. So yeah, it's a bit nuts, but I'm very excited at the idea of having a shiny new place that I can call my own and also this means that I can spend some of my time searching for glorious things to fill my new house with - yay!

This weekend my life seems to be all about travel - the house I'll be moving to is a bit of a trek back to East London, so my entire weekend has been train journeys back and forth doing viewings and sorting out paperwork. Also this afternoon I booked my flights to Portugal for my holiday in September, so that's exciting too. With all that in mind I've got travel on the brain, so can you guess what my post today is about...

Sniffle Co.

Hazah! It's the weekend *does the weekend dance* (which is basically a combination of the funky chicken and the running man). I'm really looking forward to a lay in tomorrow morning oh yes. Apparently it's going to hammer it down with rain all weekend, so currently my options are limited, but I'm sure I'll come up with something fun to do.

Today's post is basically me pimpin' again - this time I'm pimpin' jewellery. Oh how I love buying the most kitsch and funky-fun jewellery I can get my dirty mits on. For me it's the accessories that bring an outfit together, so I like to accessorise the crap outta my clothes wherever possible.

If like me, you also favour the kitschy over the... well... sensible and understated, check out this website...

This collection of fantastic brooches come from Sniffle Co.

Sniffle Co. is an American jewellery website that is bursting with the most spectacular wooden jewellery. If you get a chance, check out their Knuckle Ducking rings and also their Blast Off brooch... there's just so many cool bits and bobs!

So there we have it, funky jewellery for when you're feeling a bit wooden.

Down the rabbit hole...

I'm sitting on my sofa really trying to concentrate on typing, but I'm being distracted by the Confused.com advert... damn it's stupidly irritating catchy tunes! Garr.

*ahem*

Soooo I hope you've all had a good day. I'm right in the middle of a productive-spree (minus the advert distractions), check out what I've been up-to:

I've been a bloggin' machine and have lined up quite a few future posts (oooh organised)
I've cooked my hubby dinner as he's working late
I've done the washing up and cleaned the kitchen
I've sorted out my wardrobe and put my clothes into piles of 'keep' 'charity' 'ebay' and 'chuck'

Hazah - pretty productive I think you'll find.

So my post today is inspired by my wardrobe clear out. Whilst having a rummage I couldn't help noticing the vast amount of pretty tea dresses I own. Too posh for work and not posh enough to wear to a wedding, these dresses were proper impulse buys, probably brought on by my obsession for all things stripy, polka dotty and florally... crud.

So there's only one thing for it, I need a tea party so I can dust off my frocks! Haha

If I had a tea party, it would probably look like below... Alice in Wonderland? Pha! Eat your bloomin' heart out love...

What do you think? I reckon I'd make a super mad hatter! :)

1.   Jaeger Organdy Striped Dress - £135
2.   Lover’s Lounge Butterfly Teapot - £29
3.   Aliroo Afternoon Tea Coaster Invitation - £4
4.   Accessorize Velvet Flower - £8
5.   Laura Ashley Felt Cupcake Soft Toy Set - £12
6.   Rock n Rose Granddad Pocket Watch - £48
7.   Portmeirion Dawn Chorus Teacup & Saucer - £13.50
8.   Jellycat Bashful Bunny – From £7.75
9.   Flutters & Fancies Cake Stand - £22.50
10. Forever 21 Satin Bow Hair Clip - £2.25
11. Lorina Traditional Pink Lemonade – 2.44
12. LSA Lucie Tumbler - £8.25

TTFN!

Kate Wilson - Little Doodles

Ah what a great relaxing weekend. I did what I wanted and chilled out properly, it was lovely! :)

I just wanted to say a quick thank you to my new followers, I'm really chuffed that you've decided to check out and follow my blog, I hope you like what you see.

So, today's post is all about Kate Wilson.

I was happily clicking through one of my must favourite websites - Hannah Zakari and I came across some truly wonderful prints by Kate. They all contain the most cute, fat little birdies you have ever seen getting up to all kinds of food-related mischief. I immediately fell in love with the prints and quickly managed to track down Kate Wilson's blog... and guess what, she's right here on Blogger.

If you like the look of these glorious prints and want to see more wonderful illustrations by a clearly talented artist, please check out her blog 'Little Doodles' right here...

So, so sweet.

Nautical fun times

Horray it's the weekend!

This is the first weekend in a long time that's actually free, it's slightly unnerving, but it's also great to know that I don't have to do anything - woop.

I've been on a bit of a nautical mission recently, I think it's something to do with all the gorgeous stripes that are dominating the fashion world at the moment. If I had it my way the only fashion trend would be nautical and I'd get to spend all of my time buying up beautiful navy dresses and stripy tops. I clearly have a problem as my other half refers to me as Smee... oh dear. If you don't know who Smee is... Google him... yeah... now you see why I said oh dear.

Anyhoo, to Nautical...

Ooooh look at all the lovely bits! *drools*

Dirty cow

*Yawn* what a day.

After yesterday's post boasting about the sunshine I can only say that I clearly jinxed the weather, the heaven's opened on me on the way home and I got absolutely soaked! Boo. It's not all bad though as it gave me an excuse to cook a really beefy stodge-o-rama dinner of bolognese bake. Then I did what I usually reserve for Sunday's and took a really loooong bath - there is something really brilliant about soaking away in a hot tub, particularly when you have an exciting array of toiletries at your disposal... which I do - I have an addiction to all things Soap & Glory, Molton Brown and of course Cowshed.

With that in mind I've chucked a few of my favourite cow-related bath products... why involve cows, I hear you cry? Why not... I'm sure there's a link there somewhere between rain, cows and bath products... if cows lived in houses I'm sure they would have lots of baths... yeah... that'll do.

I love the rubber duck cow... I'm so very confused by it, but I still like it! :)

1.   Cowshed Knackered Cow Bath & Shower Gel - £16
2.   Cowshed Cowlick Gentle Shampoo - £14
3.   Rubber Duck Cow - £3.50
4.   Au Lait Milk Bath Powder - £12.95

Even though I've rambled a bit up there ^ I would still recommend checking out Cowshed if you haven't already, their bath products really are top notch and they're a great gift for any bath lovers that you know.
